Frequently asked questions

Fee questions

Are these fees final?

No. They are planned 2026 launch fees in Canadian dollars before HST. Final terms will be confirmed before payment.

Is training included in the credential fee?

No unless the final offer explicitly says otherwise. Training and credential assessment are separate products and decisions.

Is the eligibility-review fee credited?

The planned model credits the $125 review against an approved credential application completed within the published period.

Are fees refundable?

The final refund and transfer policy will identify which administrative, assessment and delivery costs are refundable or non-refundable.

Fee transparency

Candidates should understand the full likely cost before committing.

RSM should separate training tuition, eligibility review, assessment, reassessment, renewal and replacement records. Taxes, travel, venues, equipment and third-party costs should be identified when relevant, and refund, transfer, cancellation and unsuccessful-assessment terms should be available before payment.

Fees should reflect actual staff, assessor, technology, governance and recordkeeping costs. RSM should not collect a full credential fee until the handbook, privacy terms, requirements and assessment availability are confirmed. Sponsorship or group pricing must never influence the competency decision.

  • Separate each fee category.
  • Publish refund and transfer rules.
  • Confirm assessment availability first.
  • Protect decision independence.

RSM credentials are education-based professional-development pathways. They do not replace licences, permits, statutory credentials, professional engineering authority, municipal approval or employer responsibility. Planned requirements and fees may be refined before applications or payments open.
