Public verification
Verify an RSM Credential
Confirm a planned RSM credential record without confusing it with trade, professional or municipal licensing.
Verification request
Enter the record details.
The public self-service directory will be completed in the final shared system. This interim form defines the verified-data workflow.
Verification scope
Confirm status, not every aspect of professional authority.
RSM verification is planned to show whether a credential record is current, expired, suspended, withdrawn or not found. It does not confirm a contractor’s insurance, trade licence, professional licence, permit status or project suitability.
Also verify where applicable
- Skilled Trades Ontario certificates
- Professional Engineers Ontario licences
- Municipal permits and contractor requirements
- Insurance and business registration
Separate official registers
Use the applicable regulator for regulated credentials.
Frequently asked questions
Verification questions
What information will verification show?
The planned public result will be limited to information such as name or organization, credential title and code, status, issue and expiry dates, and any public conditions.
Why might a search return no result?
The details may be incorrect, the credential may not be public, the programme may not yet be active, or the person may not hold an RSM credential.
Does verification prove trade or professional licensing?
No. Verify trade and professional licences separately with the applicable regulator.
Can employers request additional information?
Additional information requires an authorized purpose, appropriate privacy controls and, where necessary, credential-holder consent.

RSM credentials are education-based professional-development pathways. They do not replace licences, permits, statutory credentials, professional engineering authority, municipal approval or employer responsibility. Planned requirements and fees may be refined before applications or payments open.
