Who may qualify
Eligibility depends on the applicant, property and work.
Qualified Markham property owners who complete the City’s required technical review, approvals and inspections.
Markham’s programme is closely connected to technical review and private plumbing protection. The City warns residents that it does not send contractors to solicit installations and does not endorse callers claiming to represent the programme.

Does RSM approve this rebate?
No. The municipality or region administers the programme and determines eligibility.
Should work begin before approval?
Not unless the current official programme clearly permits it. Many programmes require pre-approval, permits or pre-work inspection.
Does the maximum amount mean every applicant receives that amount?
No. Payment depends on eligible costs, measure limits, inspections, available funding and the authority’s decision.
Does rebate eligibility prove the proposed system is technically suitable?
No. Funding eligibility and property-specific technical suitability are separate questions.
